My name is Lorraine, but people tend to
call me, Tempist or Tempie or Raine or Rainie, instead. I was born on May 22nd to Charles and Madeline Medina. I grew up being pestered by my siblings,Katrina Sasha Medina [my younger twin], Kevin Medina [bid brother], and Michelle Medina . I was born in London, England, and I lived there for most of my life before I ended up here

Raine stands at a petite five foot four inches. She's slender and lithe, her body is made for dancing and music. Despite the fact she spends tons of time out in the sun, Raine remains fairly pale. She has dark eyes, softer because of the blend of her mother and father's genes. They are always pure with emotion, sparkling with laughter and joy, she is always the one to keep peoples spirits high, something she enjoys.
Soft dark brown, almost black with a slight reddish tinge, hair hangs down to her mid back, her hair is curly and flows about her body. She varies from having it down around her face to up in various styles. She has delicate, soft, slightly rounded face, with dark slightly rounded almond eyes, a cute nose and small mouth. She can usually be found smiling brightly, her eyes shining with delight. She adorns herself as she see's fit for the day
Raine’s style varies with her moods, for the most part she is a funky, kind of modern style girl. But she'll also dress whimsically [or romantically] in an elegant kind of way. Then again she can also switch to the other extreme looking slightly punk and dark. But for the most part she sticks to a safe medium of bohemian, flowing dresses . She has one tattoo only her sister knows about, located on her ankle, twin raindrops.

Personality-wise, Raine is kind-hearted, very spirited and energetic, which clashes with the more stoic type of people. She looks up to her brother as something of a role model, being impressed with his calm levelheaded-ness. Child-like and playful in many ways, Raine tries to maintain a positive outlook and often refers to gloomy or annoying people as "big meanies". Her cheerful outlook often makes a stark contrast when she is sad or upset. She has a fear of snakes, completely freaking out when confronting snakes, and sometimes shouting "Snake! Snake! Snaaake!". One of her favorite words happens to be Disasterrific!
Raine tends to be a complicated person emotionally. She is an intelligent person who has no real interest in her intelligence, preferring to play music over anything else. In all reality she is a rather bubbly and obnoxiously energetic and chaotic girl. Raine is full of life, and has a temper like no other, she can be irrational and more often than not she acts without thinking, regardless of the consequences. She doesn't take to well to those who wish to control her, but tries to keep her temper, if a person tells her what to do to much and tries to push her around too much she will end up flaring up at them. While she is no leader, she will not get along with bossy people due to her free spirited nature. Raine is definitely a 'shoot first and asks questions later' kind of gal, metaphorically speaking... of course. Her fearless nature is both enticing and dangerous, as she is capable of making things go "boom" very quickly. In all reality she is rather a brilliant strategist, mainly from growing up playing chess constantly and being pitted against her brother, but her strategies usually involve going in with 'guns blazing', basically violence first, just part of her personality. As children her twin frequently had to hold her back to prevent her from doing anything stupid.
Raine tends to be on the naive side, she is over trusting and friendly to a fault. Something that in the past has gotten her into a great deal of trouble. And of course if she figures out that she's being used or lied to, that temper of hers tends to come out. But if you want a chance to see Raine peaceful and calm for once, or at least more so than usual, you should catch her when she is playing her violin, it's one of the few times she allows herself to calm down and relax. It's the passion she holds towards music that has fed her determination to become a world wide famous violinist. And to be honest, determination is definitely something she has a great deal of. She’s something of a thief, with a real tendency to run off with random items that belong to people, but her sister usually makes her give them back. When it comes to her sister Raine is completely devoted, she will do anything for her twin and is extremely protective of her ‘little’ sister.

Raine's story begins when her parents met in China. Charles was a young entrepreneur, who traveled there for business when he met Madeline, his future bride and a young Chinese woman. After getting to know each other using technology to its fullest, Charles convinced Madeline to move to London with him. After their traditional, white dress wedding, Madeline and Charles had three daughters and one son. Lorraine was the second child, though born only minutes before her twin Katrina [and she never lets Katrina forget this tidbit].
They all grew up rather happy in London, though the usual squabbles between siblings was not unheard of. No matter how much their older brother Kevin picked on them, Lorraine constantly trailed after her big brother, her adoration for her big brother was undeniable. However she did hold a touch of distain for their younger sister Michelle, who constantly annoyed them. They had the whole happy family image up until her and her sister's powers manifested...
When Lorraine and Katrina were about thirteen years old, they were walking home alone, which was of course not the smartest thing to do in the dark streets of London, though as usual Lorraine convinced her it would be safe. Katrina felt like they were being followed, but Lorraine shrugged off her sister’s feeling. Then at least two man jumped them, seemingly coming out of a shadow. Most of the fight was a blur of dark bodies clashing, except for two events which ended it. Lorraine freaked and threw out her hands to defend herself and her sister, and lighting came out of the cloudless sky and struck one of their assailants. Then, Katrina’s hands became like the paws of a giant cat and slashed open another attacker. If there were any more, they fled after these two events. Lorraine did not understand what had happened, but her sister hugged her ecstatic that they were both safe, but it bothered Lorraine.
In the years following this, she and her sister carefully learned how to use and control their powers, though always hiding it from their family whom they feared would not understand. Kevin was the first to find out, and he was both comforting and understanding. While he promised not to tell their parents, he urged Katrina and Lorraine to do so themselves. Michelle was the next to discover that her sisters were mutants, but did not take the news nearly as well. After screaming incoherent words and gesturing that they should not come near her, Michelle told her parents who reacted just how Katrina and Lorraine feared. Being old fashioned, and set in their ways, Charles and Madeline shunned their twin daughters as monsters and sent them to the asylum as soon as possible.
At eighteen years old, Lorraine had once dreamed of becoming a musician, and had spent all her spare time practicing music, but now she is determined to find a way out of this nightmare, with the help of her big brother from the outside.
