Sabien walked through the darkness and felt the wall with her fingers. She was searching for a corner to sit down and curl up into. Once she found it she took a deep breath and brought herself down to her knees. She was not really to sit with her back against the wall and look out into the darkness. This was her final option and she did not know if she was ready for it to fail. She felt that sitting in the dark would stop the dead from haunting her. She could not see them if she could not see right? What if she was wrong? What power did the dead have over her? Could they force her to see them even when she took out her sight? Sabien turned to sit with her back against the wall but kept her eyes closed the entire time. She was not ready to see them. She knew they were there, she could hear them whispering in the back of her head.
Sabien? Sabien closed her eyes tightly, she wanted them to go away. She wanted to disappear from their site as much as she wanted them to disappear from hers. Please go away, please! She whispered to the voices. Just go away and leave me alone. She felt tears welling up behind her eyes. She was here because of them. The dead that she could hear and feel standing in front of her caused her to be here. She did not want to be here. She wanted to be home with her family, and her best friend and her life. She would be going off to college not year and starting a life of her own, but that was not what they wanted. They wanted her here and they wanted her all to themselves.
You know that we are never going to go away. The more you try to get rid of us, the harder it is going to be on yourself. Just stop fighting us and you will be just fine. Sabien shook her head and opened her eyes. Looking at the face that was only inches from hers. It was rotting away from the bone and she had to catch a scream in her throat. She wanted it to go away but it was closer then ever. They knew that she could see them and now they wanted her. They wanted her to do things for them and help them with their missions. She no longer got to live her life, she got to live out theres. GO AWAY She screamed, closing her eyes tightly and pulling her head down between her legs. Just go away she cried silently.

Kitty tip-toed cautiously throughout the halls, alert for any sound or any sign pointing her in the right direction. Her sister had disappeared without saying where she was going, and this worried her immensely. Though she was still relatively new to the asylum, Kitty was getting used to things more and more. However, Kitty, never being the best at finding her way places, ended up in the basement somehow and was desperately trying to find her way back upstairs, where there was some light. Yes, Kitty had turned her eyes into those of a cat, which meant that in the presence of any light, her eyes would magnify it and give her a bit more vision. As Kitty moved down the hall, light became more and more scarce until she reached a dead end, with an unlocked door.
Listening intently, Kitty heard the voice of who she assumed was a patient pleading for someone or something to leave. Kitty's first instinct was to help this person, and then maybe get directions after wards, but then she reconsidered. This was an insane asylum after all, and more than a few of the patients acted a bit abnormal, though who could say it they had been that way before or the asylum had done it to them. After a short pause, Kitty felt that she could risk at least a peek inside the room. Peering inside, Kitty discovered that there was absolutely no light in this room, and so she would be completely blinded. This scared Kitty more than the possibility of a strong, psychotic mutant getting angry with her for intruding.
"Hello? Um, could you use some help?" kitty asked quietly, keeping a firm hand on the wall so that she would not lose it and run into it later.

Sabien was getting more and more tired by the minute. This was not a good thing. Generally when she got tired really quickly it meant that something or someone was trying to take possession of her body. It was like falling asleep. She closed her eyes and then woke up hours later with no memory of what had happened. She was at least grateful in the fact that she did not have to remember any of what the spirits did to her or to other people. This was what made people believe that she was crazy. Not only did she see the dead, they took her over. The doctors would all tell her that she would remember such a thing. How could she remember that. It was like someone became her and threw who she was the rest of the time into a cell where no noise could break through the walls and no lights could shine on what was really happening. She knew that she was not crazy but because they thought she was, she was here, and they were worse here then anywhere else.
Ghosts in the asylum were mean. Past patients who were once crazy themselves. She had heard rumors that not far from here was a prison for the worst of criminals. Those who had killed hundreds and not felt any remorse about it. She wondered how many of this sick and twisted people she would come into contact with her at the asylum. She told them she wanted to be moved to a place that did not have so much horror to it, but they treated her like she was only suggesting it so that they would let her go. Sabien was far from stupid or crazy but no one seemed to take anything that she said seriously. This made her angry, and when she let her emotions run wild, that was when they crept in, taking her over and causing her sentence to be extended that much longer.
"Hello? Um, could you use some help?" Sabien straightened up, her back firmly against the wall. She could feel it over every inch of her back, almost as if she was trying to push herself into the wall to get away from the horror. Looks like Sabien has herself a helpful visitor, isn't that of the sweet sorts. Sabien felt a relief come over her body. The new voice she had heard was not that of another ghost but of a person. Someone that was alive and that was all that she needed. She wanted to be surrounded by the living and never have to deal with the dead. I .. I .. Sabien struggled with her words. Awe poor thing, can't even call out for help. The voice taunted her. You know what the means don't you? It asked her with a hint of laughter in its voice. Sabien merely just shook her head. It means you don't want me to go away. Don't worry love, I promise I am not going anywhere. Sabien tried again to call for help to the new voice but she could not seem to make a sound.

Kitty listened as the same voice stammered, and then silence followed. This made her nervous. As far as she could hear, there was no one else in the room besides the one voice which came from the other side, or at least, no one breathing. By now she had transformed her ears into that of a cat as well to hear better in the extremely dark room. It then occurred to her that the person in the room might be able to see in the dark, and had watched as her ears changed. This made her nervous as Kitty had not used her powers much when other people were watching. Ever since she learned that she could change herself into an animal, Kitty had hidden her power from nearly everyone, and the habit would not disappear very quickly.
"I'm sorry if I scared you." Kitty said in the same quiet tone.
The longer Kitty stayed in the absolute darkness, the more it frightened her. The idea of leaving sounded more and more logical to her. The girl here was probably afraid of Kitty, and Kitty had her doubts about the girl. Without seeing her face, Kitty could not remember hearing her voice. If she could transform her nose too, then the girl's smell might give her away, but is she could see in the dark then K,itty would be showing her powers once again. She took one step backwards, bringing herself closer to the still open door, though the door was no visible in the least.

Shino had been outside most of the day locked up in his cell due to biting a doctor the other day. He had a bad habit of getting into these kinds of troubles with people in this place. Finally though he just got bored and phased through the cage and then went back into the manor. Though it was always busy here he did not really want to return to one of the rooms. So instead he would just go adventure around and find some one to play with.
Walking through the halls his ears perked up due to all the voices and he was still a bit nervous not sure when a doctor would appear from around the next corner. As he came to the next corridor he phased through the wall and made his way down towards the basement. Thats when he herd the talking this attracted his attention rather quickly. it sounded like Kitty and some other person which he did not know. This was not making him to happy he hated new people.
Heading towards the voices he kept his his attention on the unfamiliar voice. Then eventually he wound up in the dark room where he saw some stranger Sabien and Kitty. Since he was already dead in most aspects he was able to see the undead as well. In his child like voice he spoke up. "Sabien are you alright...? " He was always this way very protective over the females in the Asylum. His eyes glowing faintly in the dark with their red hue. And fangs glimmering in his mouth.
He was lucky when it came to very dark place. he could be seen easily and also he was able to see very well. Plus it helped being able to phase through things and not worry about hitting things always made things seem easier. In the back of his throat a low growling was coming out almost impossible to notice.
