The young girl sat back in the library alone for now. It was still early so nobody would yet be awake. Thats how she liked it silent and filled with lucidity. In her hands laid a thick black book. It appeared to be almost a hundred years or more of age. it cover was in Latin so it would not make much sense to most people but what it read was The Iliad. By Homer. It was a decent sized book and kept her interest well. As she sat their reading she dazed of and went into her own world. A place where everything made sense for her and she was not some freak that was locked away.
From around the corner one of the other children of the asylum snuck around and came up behind where she was currently sitting. he gazed down at what she was reading then quickly grabbed it from her hands. this all in all was not the smartest thing to do to Sophia. Disappearing her body phased down through the floor. Then she came back up now behind the older boy. her eyes filled with anger and flames of blue and white rising up from her body. She quickly grabbed the book back for the boy. As she did his outfit was incinerated but he himself was not burned but bow naked. As he ran through the Library. Sophia herd the Librarian yell at him and a few others giggle in his direction.
Returning back to her calm state a smile returned back on her face and she sat back down. Turning her attention back to the book. She could still hear other patience as they walked around but paid no mind to them. She went back to her own little world in the hell like place where everything was perfect for her. Thats what books did for her they where a release from everything. Some people had video games some had sports but she had books. So what if this made her a bit odd at least she had some type of hobby. It would be better then if she returned to being a pyromaniac.

Madilee walked along the once crowded hallway. It wouldn't be the first time she had been sneaking around late at night. Like she cared. Madilee amazingly had never been actually caught by any of the doctors. She was relatively new to the asylum, not quite getting anyones attention. In most human places the new kid was met and not put down till the next year. But the Asylum had been way different. It seemed like no one actually noticed that she even existed. Sticking to their well knit groups they didn't stop to see "Theres a new wolf kid!" Not like Madilee had any real friends at her old town, but still she had a group to hold onto. She still was trying to figure out why in the world a person would cope up random monsters from all around the world in one place. Much like Dr. Franklin's Island, the students had been mutated through, hardly remembering what it was like to be a pure, innocent human.
Turning the corner, Madilee walked on and on, hoping to find the library sometime. She hadn't had a chance to go there since she came but had some guesses. The giant library, that could never hope to have any books that have information about the last century, lined the shelves. And yes no one really was there. Avoiding a glare from any hiding doctor, Madilee grabbed a random book off the shelf and opened it. Great, a book about the future.
Written in the 60's the book was called 2001. All about how we 'supposed' will wear space suits and teleport to somewhere else. To bad that already happened. Madilee saw a girl sitting on the chair across from her. Trying to think back to who she was, Madilee remembered Kitune. Hey. Madilee couldn't think of anything better to say.
Kitune was probably one of the many people Madilee saw randomly around the Asylum but never actually talked to them. It didn't seem like there where many werewolves here, but that didn't seem to surprising. It wasn't that weird to see many blood thirsty vampires walking around. They probably had just a few more problems then her and the weres. For one they didn't have the constant blood craving but they seemed to be more popular anyway.

Her eyes lifted up from the book and directed themselves towards the girl who had just spoken to her. Though she was not the most social child in the asylum she was also not rude. So she gave her a soft smile then nodded her head. Turning her attention back to her book she focused on finishing the page she was currently on that would not take to long for her. Since she read over a book a day this book was just near done so she figured it might be wise to stop and take a moment away from it.
Finishing her page she stuck a book mark in and then shut the book then set it down. Standing up she turned her body transparent then walked passed the pillar that was next to her. Appearing right to the left of the girl. She still had a smile and seemed to be in a good mood which was not a normal thing for her. She hated the world and every one in it thats how every one saw her at least. The doctors where even scared of her since she turned angry and happy like a light switch going on and off. But that was not all the way true for most of the time she was pretty happy just not social.
"Hello Madilee... Your up late are you not? Most people don't come here at night knowing that its said this place is haunted by a ghost. " Of course she was talking about herself. since she was the only ghost in the asylum. Now their where demons mutants vampires and werewolf's here but only one ghost. She was also one of the youngest members of the asylum the other younger member was only a year or so apart. But she fit in well enough and could care less what others said. Even if she was made fun off and mimicked.

Madilee almost laughed. The Asylum was of course haunted, but could you really count one ghost could you? One ghost just seemed like another person right? Of course there where people that considered about anything that came to the Asylum was a ghost. Ghost, vampires, weres, and demons probably were all together in Scooby Doo, why wouldn't they. Obviously little kids connected ghosts with the rest of the races. Humans could be so stupid, combining many different types of people into one group, monsters. But anyone who really was one would think that their particular group wasn't monsters just the best group in the mix.
I'm sure you are one of the people who are most afraid of the ghost. Kitsune had never really been that much of the social type. Or at least that was Mally's impression. She had never seen her with anyone really. Maybe a doctor or nurse walking along a corridor. But as fare as social lines go that was about it. It probably sucked to be the only one of her kind in the school. Of course there weren't many weres in the school but at least there were a few, even if almost all of them were guys.
Kitsune was probably one of those people how disappeared just to make people angry. But of course who wouldn't if they didn't have that ability. Werewolves didn't have anything that special, just going crazy once and a while. Plus the lovely teeth and fur. But luckily, when Madilee was in human form, she had a normal mouth and not hairy, what so ever.
